Personal profile

Biography

I am MBA Programme Director, Course Leader for the Executive (part-time) MBA programme and provide support to all MBA students when completing their consultancy projects with external clients.

After having run my own management consultancy business for a number of years, specialising in marketing and growth planning, I joined the Business School in May 2011. Prior to that I was Director of Operations for Business Link, the Government agency providing advice and support services to SMEs and previously held senior positions with the Arts Council of England. During the late 1990's, I also ran a company finding locations, facilities and crew for production companies in the film and television industry. I have worked on consultancy projects in the Czech Republic and the United States and during 2010 carried out a project in Nairobi working with agricultural exporters hoping to expand into EU markets.

I have a degree in Chemistry (BSc) and a masters degree in business administration (MBA). I am a member of the Institute of Marketing (ACIS), a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management (FInstLM) and a member of the Institute of Directors.

My interests include entrepreneurship and growth strategies for SMEs and I continue to work with clients on marketing planning. As a senior consultant with Brand Strategy Guru, a leading brand consultancy, I am currently working with a number of international Development agencies to develop their brands.
