Biography

Kassin joined UEA as Lecturer/Tutor in Pharmacy Technician Practice (Work-Based Learning) in March 2024. Prior to joining the University of East Anglia, Kassin worked in community, hospital, integrated care board and primary care pharmacy settings. Throughout his career, Kassin has been involved in the education and training of pharmacy professionals including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy assistants as well as nurses.

Areas of Expertise

Kassin's areas of expertise are specifically in the field the use of technologies to improve learning and teaching. It includes the use of online community of learning and Artificial Intelligence in pharmacy education. Developing methodology to improve pedagogy with the use of modern technologies; developing contextually appropriate teaching methodologies, and exploring professional digital teaching and learning  identities.
