Academic Background
Kerry holds a BA in History from the University of Leeds and completed an MA in public policy at the University of East Anglia in 2017. She is currently a PhD candidate in the school of politics, philosophy and language at UEA, examining the role of environmental NGOs in the policy process. Kerry combines her research with a career in the environmental third sector.
Key Research Interests
Kerry's research focuses on the role of environmental NGOs in the policy process. She is using the advocacy coalition framework, a prominent policy process theory, to explore the extent to which NGOs are using ideas of natural capital to participate in land management and marine conservation policy in the UK.
