Projects per year
I joined Norwich Business School as a postgraduate research student and a Graduate Teaching Assistant in January 2018. Prior to that I completed my undergraduate studies in Applied Linguistics (specialist translation between English-Polish-Russian) at the University of Warsaw, and my master’s degree in Operations and Logistics Management at UEA. In the master’s dissertation, I explored how Tesco Clubcard data can be used to segment Tesco stores. The focus was on groups of stores in which local products are supplied by SME food and drink producers.
My doctoral research is focused on the retail industry as well, and especially on the way SMEs (either suppliers upstream or small independent retailers downstream) can benefit from the vast amount of data generated along the supply chain. I want to explore its potential impact on SMEs’ marketing, operations and logistics processes.
Over the course of 2017 and 2018, I carried out research projects for the following companies: Lotus Cars, Tesco, Lacka Foods and The Retail Data Partnership.
I presented the results of the project with Tesco and Lacka Foods at the 12th International European Forum – System Dynamics and Innovation in Food Networks in Igls, February 2018.
My research is supervised by Prof Andrew Fearne and Dr Min Zhang.
