Lamia Kandil

I am a registered pharmacist in Egypt, having joined the academic career in 2008 as a teaching assistant then a lecturer after I completed my master and PhD in Biotechnology in 2012 and 2015, respectively.  I had been teaching in the school of Pharmacy, Alexandria, Egypt for 12 years. I have taught and organized different modules for different levels from level three to level six undergraduates and I was also a supervisor for level 7 (master’s)students. I modified the course materials for my modules each academic year to enhance the quality and to integrate the quality assurance guides for the academic improvement.

 After my PhD I continued my post doc studies in the field of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.  I have published peer reviewed research articles in the field of Biochemistry . I joined the UEA in 2021 as a lecturer of Biochemistry/Microbiology in the school of Biological Sciences.

Career Path

My career path involves teaching and course coordination for different modules as Biochemistry second year undergraduate and Cell Biology module for first year undergraduate in which 300 student were enrolled in each module .I have also been an academic advisor since 2012.
