Personal profile
Areas of Expertise
Currently in the third year of a PhD in Psychology at the University of East Anglia (funded Oct 2019-Dec 2022).
My research centres around to how an individual’s willingness to exert effort on one task relates to their willingness within and across domains, the extent to which effort can be trained and whether effort can be used to predict real-world sports performance. I have also recently prepared a manuscript for publication looking at the role of objects in hands-on and self referential learning.
I have extremely strong research design and quantitative data analysis skills. I mostly use Matlab, SPSS, SPSS AMOS and PsychoPy but sometimes also RStudio for data presentation. I am also a member of the schools ‘R Club’, which mainly focusses on using R for data analysis and presentation in social science.
