Personal profile

Biography

Since March 2023, I have been a Clinical Lecturer for the UEA Clinical Psychology Doctorate programme (ClinPsyD), within the Department of Clincial Psychology and Psychological Therapies in Norwich Medical School. I will be involved with the development of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Work on the ClinPsyD.

I previously worked at UEA as a Research Associate and have been involved in research opportunities with children and young people experiencing Post-traumatic Stress Disorder.

As a Clinical Psychologist, I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, with a particular emphasis on working with people with a learning disability and/or neurodevelopmental conditions. I have a keen interest in ensuring that clinical assessments and interventions are delivered in a meaningful and accessible format. I am trained to administer and code the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and have worked with individuals across the life span to assess for neurodevelopmental disorders and provide support through diagnostic processes. I have also previously worked in a Learning Disability Forensic Service.
