Biography
I completed my PhD at the University of East Anglia in 2025. Currently a Visiting Fellow at UEA my research interests include medieval and early modern maritime communities of East Anglia, fifteenth and sixteenth century alien immigrants and the dynamic Suffolk coastline including coastal erosion and flooding.
I am a qualified archivist with over thirty years experience of working in local government archives as both a researcher and archivist. Currently I am Honorary Archivist for the Tollemache family at Helmingham Hall, Suffolk.
