Biography
Dr Lucy Fitton completed her clinical training at the University of Oxford. Prior to this, she obtained BSc and MSc qualifications in psychology at the University of Warwick. She has research and clinical interests in forensic psychology, developmental and complex trauma, and Schema Therapy.
She has specialised in working in secure services such as a high-secure hospital, Immigration and Removal, Probation services, and Prison. She also has experience completing assessments and reports for criminal and family court. Alongside her post at UEA, she works within the Offender Care directorate within Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust.
Lucy joined the UEA course in the summer of 2021 and among her responsibilities she will be an advisor for trainees, take a lead on admissions tasks, supervise service development and research projects, teach, and examine.
