Biography

Having qualified as a Dietician in 2016, I continued my studies with an MSc on Human Nutrition in Scotland.  I specialized in Nutrigenetics and Vitamin Biosynthesis by Human Gut Butyrate-Producing Bacteria. In 2017 I started working in the pharmaceutical industry on the development of Live Biotherapeutics. A year later I decided to join a PhD programme at Norwich Medical School focusing on Biomedical Sciences and Endocrinology. During my PhD I specialised on Vitamin D supplementation and Chronic Kidney Disease related Mineral Bone Disease. I continued my academic career as a postdoc on a Knowledge Transfer Partnership project between the Pharmacy School at UEA and the food industry. I am currently Lecturer and Course Director for the MSc in Dietetics.
