Academic Background
M. René Bradshaw grew up in Filipino kitchens in California. She attended the University of California, Berkeley, and received an MA in Comparative Literature from Trinity College, Dublin, and an MA in Writing from the University of Warwick. She is completing a PhD in Creative and Critical Writing at the University of East Anglia. Her short stories, essays and reviews have appeared in The Times Literary Supplement, Litro, The London Magazine, Asymptote Journal, and elsewhere. The creative component of her doctoral project is a comedic novel about working in tech, and the critical component focuses on the multi-cultures of food. She works as a podcast producer and lives in Norwich.
