I was awarded my PhD in Critical and Creative Writing from UEA in 2016 and have taught here since 2013.

I'm primarily interested in the intersection of poetry, interiority and environment, but at present, I'm working on a book of creative non-fiction about the urban and feral pastoral surrounding my home in East London (forthcoming from Penned-in-the-Margins in late 2022).

Verve Poetry Press published my third pamphlet, Wife of Osiris, in 2021.  My first, full collection, Natural Phenomena (2018, London: Penned-in-the-Margins) was the UK Poetry Book Society's Spring Guest Choice, a Poetry School Book of the Year, highly commended in the Forward Prizes and long-listed for the 2020 Laurel Prize.
