Recent project work:

GloSAT project: to estimate how the global climate has changed over the industrial era with CRU colleagues Tim Obsorn, Phil Jones, David Lister, Ian Harris and Emily Wallis, and consortium partners at UKMO (Colin Morice), NOC (Liz Kent), University of Reading (Ed Hawkins), and the University of York (Kevin Cowtan).

CUSSH Cities dashboard: CMIP6 projections of ETCCDI and heat stress indices for the CUSSH Cities Project with Clare Goodess, Ian Harris and Tim Osborn.

Global Fire Dashboard: IPCC AR6 land region trends in burned area and carbon emissions with Matt Jones and Tim Osborn.

Climate Mural For Our Times: 10 metre mural in the Norwich City Council City Hall painted by Gennadiy Ivanov in collaboration with CRU professors Tim Osborn, Trevor Davies and John Pomeroy director of Global Water Futures at the University of Saskatchewan in Canada. The mural depects climate change during the Cenozoic Era through the instrumental record and out to the year 2200 with SSP climate model projections. The skyline contains warming stripes from 66 million years ago out to 2200 CE.

Age of Mammals app: I have made an online interactive app that lets you explore the data palaeoclimate data from 66 Ma BCE - 2200 CE for 5 future SSP projections.
