Personal profile

My interests are across coastal, marine and catchment habitats, including rivers, estuaries, coral reefs and temperate environments, with specialist skills in: assessing eutrophication risk and vulnerability, policy analysis and advice, water quality, impact assessment, catchment management, planning and approvals and facilitation of scientific and community workshops. I work on environmental monitoring of water quality and eutrophication and the provision of advice on eutrophication and nutrients to managers and policy makers. My research has been focused on fate and consequence of pollutants in the freshwater, coastal and offshore marine waters, and establishing links between the freshwater zone and marine habitats and biodiversity.
