Biography

Dr. Mohammad Tayeenul Hoque, a dynamic and passionate educator, joined Norwich Business School as a Lecturer in Marketing in November 2023. His academic journey began with completing a Ph.D. at Norwich Business School in 2017, immersing him in research and academic excellence at the University of East Anglia (UEA).

Dr. Hoque's teaching philosophy focuses on creating an engaging, research-oriented learning environment, integrating the latest marketing trends and strategies. His commitment to this approach has significantly enhanced student engagement and educational quality.

In research, Dr. Hoque explores knowledge management, marketing, and digital transformation in export-centric enterprises, as well as the efficacy of influencer marketing in Bottom of Pyramid markets. His work, known for its meticulous quantitative analysis and experimental design, has been published in prestigious journals like the Journal of Knowledge Management, International Marketing Review, and the Journal of Business Research.

  • Chairman at the Department of Marketing & International Business in North South University (From September 09, 2017 to January 09, 2023): I oversaw the recruitment of new faculty members, both locally and internationally, ensuring a diverse and talented team. Additionally, I conducted ongoing evaluations of faculty members' teaching performance, promoting continuous improvement and maintaining high teaching standards within the department.
  • Recognizing the importance of research excellence, I organized research seminars aimed at enhancing faculty members' research skills in quantitative research design. Furthermore, I actively facilitated research collaboration opportunities among faculty members within the marketing and international business department, fostering a vibrant and collaborative research culture.
  • Chair of curriculum development committee at the department level:
