Biography

Co-founder and Managing Director/Editor of UEA Publishing Project, incorporating Boiler House Press, Strangers Press, Full Circle Editions and Egg Box Publishing and previously chairman of the board of directors for Inpress, representing over 40 independent UK publishers.

Edited Dear World & Everyone In It: New Poetry in the UK (Bloodaxe, 2013) and co-edited The Caught Habits of Language (Donut Press, 2018), an anthology celebrating the poet W.S. Graham's centenary year, and has edited, advised and consulted on numerous books, collections, anthologies or other publishing-related projects nationally and internationally.

Poetry and criticism have appeared on/in The Guardian, The Spectator, The Rialto, Five Dials, The Manhattan Review, Der Greif and The Wolf, among others.
