Biography

Patricia is presently a PhD student at the School of Law and a member of the Centre for Competition Policy (CCP), University of East Anglia. Before initiating her PhD program in 2022, she worked as a corporate lawyer in several companies in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she qualified as a lawyer. Her research is focused on the regulation of digital markets in Europe, especially concerning the interplay of data protection regulation in data- driven markets and its effects on consumers and competition. She is also interested in Law and Economics and its application in other law disciplines such as Tort Law.
