Academic Background

I am an interdisciplinary scholar with a focus on astronaut emotional health. I employ ethnographic and computational research methods. I am the Principal Investigator collaborating with the Austrian Space Forum. As former director of the Space Research Group at Loughborough University, I have published in top journals like Human Relations and the Journal of the Association of Information Systems, earning numerous awards. I have held leadership roles such as MSc Programme Director and Senior Editor at IT & People. My research has influenced cancer care policy through Maggie's Centres and astronaut emotional health via the UK Space Agency.
