Academic Background

Pedro is a Law PhD Candidate at UEA. Prior to this, Pedro completed his LLB in 2016 and LLM in International Commercial and Business Law in 2017. After spending one year obtaining practical legal experience and working for UEA's MathTASK project, he returned to UEA in October 2018 to start his PhD. He was awarded a Law School Studentship for his PhD studies and has since then been working on his thesis focusing on Comparative Company Law and the Role of Shareholders. 

At UEA, Pedro has taught on the undergraduate modules Contract Law and Law in Practice.

In addtion, Pedro has experience of working with the Outreach Team to develop and deliver workshops for local schools and has also worked as a Research Associate for the School of Law on a Company Law project.
