Biography
I am a computational macroeconomist working with dynamic stochastic general equilibrium models using high-performance computing. My research interests lie in the area of optimal policy design, specifically, I am interested in the implications of extremely low interest rates for the conduct of monetary and fiscal policies and in government debt dynamics, more broadly. I am also interested in the macroeconomic effects of bounded rationality, such as learning about the economic environment. I hold MSc in Economics from Masaryk University in Brno and from CERGE-EI in Prague (Czech Republic) and PhD in Economics from Loughborough University (UK).
