Raheel Hassan completed his PhD in Network Security from Universite de Franche-Comte, France. Before his PhD, he worked 04 years in the industry as a Network Administrator. He has been working in academia for the last 09 years and published several papers. In the past he has completed a research fellowship at Emory University from the USA & taught a few courses during 2011-2012 at the Universite de Franche-Comte, France. During the last four years he was affiliated with the Department of Computer Science at King Abdulaziz University which is one of the largest university in Saudi Arabia. He has recently joined the School of Computing Science at the University of East Anglia. He has been involved in multiple projects related to Network Security such as Intrusion Detection Systems in Distributed Networks, Security Information and Management Systems, Smart Authentication for Future Networks. Recently he has started working on the Management of Security for IoT Networks using Blockchain.
