Rasem joined the Norwich Business School in 2019 as a PhD researcher in the Innovation, Technology and Operations Management (ITOM) Research group under the supervision of Dr Nikolaos Korfiatis and Associate Professor James Cornford. Rasem holds a degree in Business Administration. BBA (Hons) and a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA). He was also awarded a Level 7 Diploma in Professional Business Consulting from Chartered Management Institute (CMI). Before joining NBS, Rasem had several years of experience managing businesses within the service and hospitality industries in Sweden.

  • Associate Tutor at the Norwich Business School, for Project Management Module 2nd -year undergraduate, seminar leader and Marking of the module scripts. 31/01/22 → 31/05/22.
  • Guest Lecturer at the operation Logistic Management (MSc), Teaching the bullwhip effect, which is a key concept in operations (UEA). 24/11/2021.
  • MBA Ambassador at Norwich Business School (UEA).
      Working in partnership with the MBA course team in relation to the development of alumni events and activities. 01/2020→Present.
  • Consultancy Project, Norwich Business School (UEA). Worked closely with the business client (PIL Membranes Ltd) to boost their business to attract new potential marketing channels by providing a completed marketing strategy plan for them to implement within the next few years. 05/2017→09/2017.
  • Consultancy Project, Norwich Business School (UEA).
    Performed and developed strategic plans for the business client (Billi UK LLP) to be prepared for larger future growth, provided suggestions for improving customer service and allocation of responsibilities inside of the organisation from B2B with a view of future growth over the next five years. 09/2017→12/2017.
