Following a late diagnosis of Autism and her experiences raising an Autistic child, Rebecca developed a keen interest in Autism research. Areas of interest include issues relating to women and girls, identity and digital spaces. During her MA, she undertook research projects that examined the experiences of female Autistic students in university seminars, the emergence of neurodivergent digital communities, and the influence of Autistic social media figures.
