Personal profile

Biography

I have taught in the School of Literature, Drama and Creative Writing at UEA since 2005 where I teach primarily in Medieval and Early Modern literature.

Key Research Interests

My primary research interests concern the relationship between literature, context and culture, the construction and dissemination of individual and collective identities, relationships between literature and other cultural artefacts, literature and place, and literature and the environment. I am primarily a researcher of medieval literature and culture but I am also interested in East Anglian literature from all periods.

I welcome applications for supervision in any of these (and related) areas. Do please get in touch if you would like to discuss your ideas for a project.
