Personal profile
Academic Background
I completed my bachelor's degree in banking in 2012 from Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, Saudi Arabia (IMSIU). Upon my graduation, I was offered a teaching position within the banking and finance department at IMSIU with a full scholarship to further my education. In 2016, I earned a master’s degree of science in finance and economics from West Texas A&M University, USA. After this journey, I was promoted to a lecturer position in the banking and finance department at IMSIU which gave me the opportunity to interact with experts in the realm of finance and involve in academic discussions. As a result, my interest in finance research has continued to grow leading me to join Norwich Business School as PhD candidate in the finance group under the supervision of Professor Raphael Markellos and Dr. Apostolos Kourtis. Currently, I’m working on a multilingual financial sentiment analysis project.
