Key Research Interests
I am a PhD student at the School of International Development at UEA (October 2019). I am concerned with major global development issues, but particularly interested in education, race, gender, inequality, microeconomics, policy evaluation and causal inference. For my thesis, I am investigating the effects of the Brazilian affirmative action regulation for higher education on pre-college outcomes and educational inequalities. Additional studies approach gender and racial inequalities in education. I am a Stata user, with basic knowledge of R and Python.
