Sara Carder is an Associate Tutor, Post Qualifying Adviser and PhD researcher in the School of Social Work. Her research focuses on the role of teams in supporting social workers with the emotional demands of child and family social work. Sara's other areas of interest/speciality are:
Sara has a BA (Hons) in Social Work from City College Norwich and an MA in Advanced Social Work from the University of East Anglia. Sara also has an MA in Art Psychotherapy from Roehampton University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Consulting and Leading in Organisations using Systemic and Psychodynamic Approaches after studying at the Tavistock Centre. Sara worked as a Social Worker and manager at Norfolk County Council Chidren's Services for 10 years before becoming an independent Social Work Consultant and Art Psychotherapist.
