Personal profile

Academic Background

I am currently a research student at the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia. I am studying weather extremes under a changing climate under the supervision of Tim Osborn, Steve Dorling, Craig Wallace and Jo Parker (based at CASE partner Atkins). Prior to joining UEA, I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Theoretical Physics from the University of York in 2018. My current research focus is on the stochastic modelling of preciptation using Markov chain models.

I have maintained an interest in widening participation and outreach throughout my undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Since starting my PhD, I have undertaken 7 in-school placements with The Brilliant Club and have recently started working with the Learning Enhancement Team here at UEA.
