Sharif Al-Rousi

After secondary school teaching, I moved into Local Authority Children's
Services, working for 15 years in the development and management of family support services, children's centres and parenting interventions. I was a mentor and assessor for the National Professional Qualification for Integrated Centre Leadership (NPQICL) in the Eastern Region, and have an interest in multi-agency working in services for children and young people at both frontline worker and organisational level. I was deeply involved in local arrangements for the Troubled Families programme and contributed to the local development of multi-agency processes and pathways for family support. More recently, I was a commissioner of children's services with a lead on emotional wellbeing for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. I have been a member of the EMHP teaching team since 2020.
