Personal profile

Academic Background

I trained as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) at the University of Reading in 2016, then spent a semester abroad at Aarhus University in Denmark before completing my Masters in Psychological Theory and Practice (MSci) in 2017. I then retrained to work with children and young people at the Anxiety and Depression Clinic (AnDY) at the University of Reading, where I delivered one-to-one and group low intensity interventions for anxiety and depression in clinic and secondary school settings. In 2019, I moved to Australia to begin a Cotutelle PhD (a joint PhD programme) funded by Macquarie University, Sydney, and the University of Reading. In 2021, I returned to the UK to complete my PhD (submitted in November 2023) focused predominantly on autism, social information processing, and anxiety. I started my current role as an Educational Mental Health Practitioner Lecturer in November 2023 at the University of East Anglia.
