Biography

I joined the UEA Academic Team in April 2019 as an Associate Tutor, becoming a Clinical Lecturer in January 2020. I completed my Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) training at the University of Exeter whilst working for the Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation Trust in Colchester and then worked as a qualified PWP for the Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation Trust in Norwich full-time for 4 years. I completed my PWP Supervisor training at the University of Essex and have experience of providing case management supervision and co-facilitating clinical skills supervision training to other PWPs, as well as providing support for trainee PWPs. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and I am currently working towards the MA in Higher Education Practice. 

 

Key Research Interests

I have a special interest in wellbeing in the workplace and I am keen to contribute to research on practical interventions to enhance trainee and qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners' (PWPs) wellbeing, engagement and retention.
