Biography

Dr. Stefano Landini completed a BSc in Energy Engineering in 2012 and a MSc in Energy Engineering and Power Production in 2014 at Polytechnic of Milan with distinction. His MSc thesis, in collaboration with Sorgenia Spa, focused on geothermal binary systems. He completed with distinction a MSc in Renewable Energy Engineering at Heriot-Watt University in 2016 with a thesis on wind farms availability in collaboration with Natural Power Ltd. He was awarded a PhD in Mechanical Engineering on Thermal Management of Li-Ion cells at Heriot-Watt University in 2020. He completed a postdoc in solar thermal collectors optimisation at Heriot-Watt University in collaboration with SolarisKit Ltd. Currently, he has research collaborations with nESSI Heriot-Watt University, CC Thermal Energy Storage Hochschule Luzern, and University of Padova.
