Steve is a Visiting Researcher at Norwich Business School. His research interests are interdisciplinary, with focus on business management, cybersecurity, innovation and software engineering.
Steve completed his PhD with Norwich Business School. His thesis presents research exploring how DevOps is defined as well as a 14 month qualitative case study exploring the organisational impacts of DevOps adoption.
Steve previously studied with the School of Computing Sciences at UEA from 2010, and holds a BSc (Hons) in Business Information Systems and MSc in Advanced Computing Science. His dissertations focused on the diffusion and security of passive Near-Field Communication (NFC) based systems.
Prior to beginning his studies, Steve worked as a freelance lead systems trainer and training consultant across the UK. His clients included public and private sector organisations across the country, including numerous NHS trusts, local authorities, large multi-national organisations, small businesses and start-ups.
Steve has been delivering teaching at the University since 2012, delivering teaching on modules within both Norwich Business School and the School of Computing Sciences. Furthermore, he has many years of experience delivering training and tuition for businesses, local authorities and NHS trusts based across the UK.
