Key Research Interests and Expertise
The title of my thesis is: ‘Ken Russell: British critical reception and the construction of authorial reputation’. Here, I explore the reputation of the British film director Ken Russell and the historical relationship between critical and press reception within a national context. My supervisors are Tim Snelson and Melanie Williams.
I received a BA in Film and Television Studies (2014) and a MA in Film (2016) from the University of East Anglia. My research interests include British cinema and television, film authorship and debates surrounding popular culture.
