Sylvain Pourciel teaches French language, culture and society. He started studying modern languages as an undergraduate student, then turned to linguistics for his Master's studies. He has taught French as a second language in China, France, Taiwan and Bulgaria. From an academic perspective, he researches vocabulary acquisition, processing and use. On the personal side, he likes to spend some time growing plants, taking care of his cats, and taking photos (sometimes of his plants and cats).
