Biography
Thomas Marsden is a Lecturer in Physical Education and Sport in the School of Education & Lifelong Learning. He joined the School in January 2021 and was appointed full time in August 2021. Thomas holds the leadership and management role of Course Director for the Physical Education, Sport and Health cluster programmes. Prior to working at UEA, Thomas taught within the further education sector. Thomas has held various positions within coaching, sport science and fitness industry sectors and has tutored and assessed industry accredited qualifications.
Teaching Interests
Thomas’s main teaching responsibilities are on the suite of BSc Physical Education, Sport, and Health programmes, where he is module leader for Anatomical and Physiological Basis for Human Movement (Level 4), Health Fitness and Training (Level 4), Science of Physical Activity (Level 5) and Analysis and Classification of Sport (Level 6). Thomas supervises research projects at undergraduate (BSc) levels.
