Biography

PhD Student in Social (& linguistic) Anthropology.

My research is generally about the relationship between social, economic and political precarity and linguistic interaction. My PhD project explores this relationship through the experiences of migrant communities in advice encounters, in Great Yarmouth, UK.

Other interests include: linguistic anthropology, linguistic ideologies/identities, euphemism, language and work, navigating civil life…
