Academic Background
I started as a Clinical Lecturer at UEA in 2021 after working as a Clinical Psychologist in NHS stroke and learning disability services for over 13 years. I currently work on the Clinical Associate in Psychology Apprenticeship Programme at UEA where I lead the Practice, Research and Evaluation and End Point Assessment Modules.
Areas of Expertise
I have both clinical and academic expertise in neuropsychological approaches to stroke rehabilitation. I have interest in the use of psychometrics and supporting and developing practice based evidence through health service evaluation practices.
Teaching Interests
I teach a range of subjects across the Clinical Associate in Psychology and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology Programmes including stroke rehabilitataion, use of psychometrics, core therapeutic skills, neuropsychological assessment, supervision, service audit/evaluation/quality improvement, evaluation of clinical work, teaching and training in clinical settings and critical appraisal.
Postgraduate Research Opportunities
I am a primary and secondary supervisor for several Doctorate in Clinical Psychology thesis projects in the area of stroke rehabilitation.

I am a committe member of the Organisation for Psychological Research After Storke and the Scientific Committee of the United Kingdom and Ireland Stroke Psychologists Network.
