Personal profile

Academic Background

Victoria is a PhD researcher at Norwich Business School within UEA. Her research looks at sustainability in the UK advertising sector with a focus on employee values and actions. It uses the lens of Institutional Work theory to understand how the reconceptualisation and ideation of advertising to consider global environmental goals can occur.

The research contributes to CAST - the Centre for Climate Change and Social Transformations, a global hub for understanding the systemic and societal wide transformations that are urgently needed for rapid emissions reductions.

Victoria is a certified (IEMA) environmental practitioner, has a Masters in International Development, and a Bachelors degree in Business and Marketing.

She has worked in the advertising production sector for fifteen years in various director roles. She currently co-owns a consultancy, which advises organisations in the sector on how to achieve net zero goals and implement environmental management frameworks.
