Biography
I am a Scholar holding a PhD from the School of Arts, Media, and American Studies. My research focuses on Western television and its global reception. Specifically, my doctoral thesis examines issues of gender representation in American television and how these representations are perceived and negotiated by audiences in the Middle East and North Africa region.
My academic interests encompass a wide range of topics, including gender and gender representation, women's rights and women's studies, feminism, Third World and Postcolonial Feminisms, Media Representations, Audience Reception, Audience studies, World Cinema, Film and Television Studies.
