Biography
Yevgeniia Gnatchenko is NBS Visitor Associate Professor taking part in Researchers at Risk Fellowships Programme established by The British Academy with Cara (the Council for At-Risk Academics). Prior to joining UEA she was from 2013 Associate Professor, Lecturer of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Business Administration, O.M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv (O.M. Beketov NUUEKh), Ukraine. The Department of Entrepreneurship and Business Administration, Kharkiv National University of Urban Economy, where Yevgeniia has a post, focuses on the development of entrepreneurship institutions, socially responsible business, sustainable development of cities, and public-private partnerships for urban economies. There is also a School of Entrepreneurship and Startup in the Department providing trainings and workshops for students. Yevgniia’s latest research considers innovative entrepreneurship and small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) development. Modules: Investment Analysis, Entrepreneurship and start-ups. In 2008-2013 she occupied post of Professor Assistant, Department of Economics of Civil Engineering, O.M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv (O.M. Beketov NUUEKh), Modules: Induction in economics of civil engineering, Economics of Urban Planning, Economy and management of industrial companies.
Key Research Interests
Yevgniia’s research has include innovative entrepreneurship, start-up support, small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) development, governmental support for SME, innovation policy.
