My research focus: Investigating how SMEs use an entrepreneurial approach to exploit technology to enhance marketing practice for opportunity seeking
Including: theorisation of entrepreneurial behaviour in the digital world; how technology enables innovative marketing practice; the impacts of the features of technology and online environment on entrepreneurial behaviour
Research vision: aim to reduce the vulnerability of SMEs (non tech sector) when dealing with the uncertainty and changes arising from technological development.
Prepare SMEs to survive and thrive in the digital environment
I am interested in supervising postgraduate research students in the areas of entrepreneurial marketing and digital marketing. My expertise is in qualitative research.
