Academic Background
Zengyi Li started as a PhD trainee at the University of East Anglia (UEA) in 2018. Before that he was an undergraduate student at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), where he earned his baccalaureate degree of engineering in 2018. He started his research on industrial catalysis with Zuotai Zhang of SUSTech in 2016, and switched to groundwater arsenic with Benjamin Bostick of Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO), Columbia University in 2017, then with Yan Zheng of both LDEO and SUSTech until today. Now he works on microbial geochemistry of groundwater arsenic immobilization with Tom Clarke of UEA and Yan Zheng of SUSTech as a postgraduate researcher.
