The Leverhulme Trust awards £3 million awarded to 30 outstanding researchers.
The Leverhulme Trust has announced the winners of the 2025 Philip Leverhulme Prizes. Chosen from over 350 nominations, the Trust offered five prizes in each of the following subject areas: Archaeology, Chemistry, Economics, Engineering, Geography, and Languages and Literatures. Congratulations to the prize winners, listed below.
Dr Matthew Jones, School of Environmental Sciences, University of East Anglia, for their work on pyrogeography, extreme fires, earth system science, and climate change impacts, including mitigation and adaptation.
