Abstract
Hypnoanasthesia has been used in the past for the treatment of minor trauma in both adults and children. It is of particular value in the latter. However, the time required limits its application in the Accident and Emergency Department. A brief technique for hypnoanasthesia particularly for children is described, offering a practical solution. A case is reported to illustrate its usefulness.
