Examines the proposals contained in the Law Commission report "Celebrating Marriage: A New Wedding Law" concerning: the preliminaries required for marriage; officiants; the location of the ceremony; same-sex marriages; civil partnerships; criminal offences associated with marriage; and the status of religious-only weddings.
