Abstract
This exhibition (March 2014-September 2014) at the National Museum of Fiji explored the role of clothing (dress, body adornments and body modifications) and its link with the human body in Fiji. It was an outcome of the AHRC-funded 'Fijian Arts' research project. This was the first exhibition based on the museum's collections in about 30 years and it improved the museum’s visibility within the broader community in Suva, Fiji. The exhibition was highlighted in the AHRC publication 'The impact of AHRC Research (April 2014-March 2015)'.
