Abstract
CIRCLE is a major new internet resource containing 20,000 reconstructed letters from the medieval Irish chancery rolls. The original rolls were destroyed in an explosion and fire at the Public Record Office of Ireland at the Four Courts, Dublin, on 30 June 1922. A printed edition will be published by the Irish Manuscripts Commission.
