Abstract
This marks the last issue to be co-edited by our colleague Dr Margit Thøfner, who stepped down in February 2017 to concentrate on her research and independent projects. She served on the editorial team of World Art for four years, across eight issues. And over that time, she was one of the principals in overseeing the journal’s diverse contents and establishing current thematic and stylistic directions. We are grateful for her valuable contributions, hard work, and dedication during this important formative period, and for having paved the way for the journal’s bright future.
