N2 - We present a Hamiltonian formulation of two-dimensional hydroelastic waves propagating at the free surface of a stratified rotational ideal fluid of finite depth, covered by a thin ice sheet. The flows considered exhibit a discontinuous stratification and piecewise constant vorticity, accommodating the presence of interfaces and of linearly sheared currents.
